A paediatrician with experience in oncology by training, Dr. Alain Rinaldi practised paediatrics for many years before joining the pharma industry and progressing through executive medical positions, the most recent one as Medical Director for Europe at Alexion.
The common thread of his 30+ year career was the launching of drugs, constructing exciting projects from the ground up and rendering medical science into sound business outcomes. In his last position, he successfully accompanied the launch of eculizumab in several European countries.
